Joel W. Werner, CMM is a Certified Minerals Manager with almost 25 years of experience in the domestic and international oil and gas industry. His geographic experience includes oil and gas wells in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Gulf of Mexico, California, Canada, Venezuela, Columbia, the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Brunei, Sarawak and Australia.
Mr. Werner is experienced in drilling, completions, petroleum land, geology, geophysics, engineering, mineral law, environmental, information/data management, reserves evaluation and asset & portfolio management. He specializes in oil, gas and mineral management and the application of appropriate petroleum land, geology, geophysics, engineering, mineral law, environmental, accounting and mineral management disciplines to royalty interest, mineral interest (producing and non-producing), leasehold interest (working interest and overriding royalty interest) and surface interest owners--primarily family partnerships, entities, trusts and foundations--to assist in the management and development of their oil, gas and mineral related assets.
Mr. Werner is Oil & Gas Operations Manager of The Sweet Lake Land & Oil Company, The North American Land Company, L & H of Lake Charles and Manager of The Chalkley Exploration Group. The Chalkley Companies are a group of 125 year old private, family-owned and Louisiana-based companies with over 80,000 acres of fee land and mineral holdings located in Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Mr. Werner is President & Managing Member of Werner Energy Advisors, an oil, gas and mineral management firm engaged in the oil, gas and mineral management advisory business providing petroleum land, geology, geophysics, engineering, mineral law, environmental, accounting and mineral management services to royalty interest, mineral interest (producing and non-producing), leasehold interest (working interest and overriding royalty interest) and surface interest owners--primarily family partnerships, entities, trusts and foundations--to assist in the management and development of their oil, gas and mineral related assets.
Prior, Mr. Werner worked for EnerTech Engineering & Research Co., Munro Garrett International, DRD Corporation and SlimDril International in various technical, project management and management positions. Mr. Werner earned his B.S. from Louisiana Tech University, pursued graduate studies at Louisiana State University and completed Professional Development (Energy, Oil & Gas) Certificate Programs at Southern Methodist University Cox School.
Mr. Werner is a board member of Louisiana Oil & Gas Association (LOGA), member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO).
